Happy Sunday :)

Hello bloggers!
I'm sorry it's been a few days since I've posted... my office moved at work so that was crazy. ANYWAYS
I am having a new-found love affair with OPI nail polish.. it is AMAZING. It goes on sooo smooth. I painted my toes a bright summer-y pink and I love it.
I've been keeping up with my goal to get up in the mornings and spend time on my hair and make-up and I can say I definitely feel more confident and pretty. My boyfriend has said how nice I look lately too.
I'm going to Sephora again this upcoming week, and want to know some suggestions for things I should get? Also, my goal this week is to find an outfit that is really cute, not too expensive and has a little more of a Lauren Conrad/casual look. Any suggestions?
OH and I also need help on what colors of eyeshadow would look good on me so I can try them out.
Thanks a bunch everyone! I'm excited to see how this week turns out.
OH and definitely go to this "Honeybee" website and enter to win a pink flatiron :) http://andeelayne.blogspot.com/ It's a cute blog! Become a fan!

Results of my shopping adventure

Hello loves!
Okay so I don't have much time (I'm at work... yes, blogging) so I'll hurry through what I got.
SO after purchasing Clash of the Titans tickets- great movie by the way, but if you like the first one, I would just wait to rent it- I sprinted off to Sephora while my boyfriend went into Champs. First of all let me just say the people there are SO sweet and helpful. Right off the bat I went over to the brushes because I have NONE and I really wanted some. They have like a million brushes, which would be great for someone who knows their make-up stuff but for me it was like trying to get through the labyrinth. I just took the easy way and picked up a Two Tone Portfolio brush set because it looked like it had everything I needed blush brush, powder/complexion brush, eyeshadow blending brush, eyeshadow detail brush, concealer brush, and a retractable lip brush (which IDK how in the world to use it... PLEASE help if you have info). This little package was only $44 and you can get it at www.sephora.com or in stores.

The second thing I got (with the assistance of Michelle) was an Urban Decay glide on eye pencil (color Flipside--- teal). Let me just say that this is amazing. It glides on easily, is not crazy messy and stays on. I put it on just to try it out, hopped in the shower, washed my face and it had not MOVED. I kid you not, it was still there. It took 3 cotton balls and make-up remover to get off. It is great. Under the description at Sephora it says "stays soft and creamy for blending (about 30 seconds), then dries to a long-lasting finish". So not only can you blend, but once you do... it stays! Plus you have the added bonus of moisturizer in your eyeliner. I totally recommend this for those of you who want a cute, fun eyeliner. The only downside I saw to it was a $17 price tag, which I think is kinda expensive, but maybe that's how much good make-up is. Any thoughts?

With this I had to get a pencil sharpener of course and it's really cute and cheap (around $2 or $3).

Anything you can think of for me to try out? I'll try to take a picture/video of my look for today. I straightened my hair, wearing a scarf, but still have a plain black T-shirt :) SORRY! I'll work on it tomorrow.

Make-up shopping trip today... EEK!

Ok this weather on the East coast is FABULOUS! I love it :) It's almost 80 degrees so perfect shorts and tank weather!

Ok so I am going out to get make-up today... I don't even know where to begin LOL! I have make-up, but it's just browns, and other neutrals where I want to pop a little more... without being too over-the-top-lady-gagaish. I'm planning on going to Macys and starting there. As far as I know it's not too expensive and maybe I can get some good girl advice.

That being said, TODAY I am so proud of myself because I actually did my make-up. Yes bloggers I did :) As I said I only have neutrals so I did a shimmery nude on the lid, a brown on the outside of the lid and dark eyeliner on the outsides (not the full eye, because I have squinty eyes sometimes and I want them to look more open) and last but not least Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara, which is AMAZING. I have on Victoria Secret lip-gloss... which by the way is just too sticky for me, I can't stand it, but I'm sticking to it for today (no pun intended hehe). If you don't like sticky, I wouldn't suggest buying this!

Project GLAM!

Hello everyone!
First off, let me introduce myself. I'm Britton-Lee, a normal college girl and have never ever been very girly or glamorous. I rarely wear makeup. I don't spend much time on hair in the mornings and never made the time to really work on my look for the day.
I really want to be more girly and go from blah to girly and GLAM! :) I definitely will need all the help I can possibly get, and I would love for your tips!
Step 1: Now I don't have a ton of money, but I am ready to actually spend some on makeup products that will make me look fabulous so hopefully you all can help me out and I will be SO appreciative!
Here's a picture of me on a pretty good day. I got up and straightened my hair but I have no makeup on. I wear lots of plain shirts (i.e. the black one shown) and I'm getting tired of being normal! Just so you all know, I'm 5'7" about and 130 lbs. Please help me this week with makeup suggestions/tips, what kind of brushes I should use, and where to find everything! Trust me, without you guys I'm hopeless in the makeup isle so help me out!
Also, can you help me out with what other steps I need to take for upcoming weeks? Thanks!
