Make-up shopping trip today... EEK!

Ok this weather on the East coast is FABULOUS! I love it :) It's almost 80 degrees so perfect shorts and tank weather!

Ok so I am going out to get make-up today... I don't even know where to begin LOL! I have make-up, but it's just browns, and other neutrals where I want to pop a little more... without being too over-the-top-lady-gagaish. I'm planning on going to Macys and starting there. As far as I know it's not too expensive and maybe I can get some good girl advice.

That being said, TODAY I am so proud of myself because I actually did my make-up. Yes bloggers I did :) As I said I only have neutrals so I did a shimmery nude on the lid, a brown on the outside of the lid and dark eyeliner on the outsides (not the full eye, because I have squinty eyes sometimes and I want them to look more open) and last but not least Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara, which is AMAZING. I have on Victoria Secret lip-gloss... which by the way is just too sticky for me, I can't stand it, but I'm sticking to it for today (no pun intended hehe). If you don't like sticky, I wouldn't suggest buying this!

  1. It's best to start with different colors other than brown's and use light pink's for your cheeks like blush and use light eyeshadow's.If you wan't your eyelashes to be bold and curly then lash blast mascara by covergirl. If you don't feel confident with yourself try a new style and go to different places to meet new people.

  3. Hi there. It's a very good start. I used to be wearing lots of black crayon and I had to learn makeup over a few years ago...
What I really like to do to open up my eyes (and give them a nice shape) is to draw a very thin line of eyeliner on the upper lid, close to the lashline. Then I make it just a tiny bit stronger towards the outer corner of my eye and use a barely noticeable color on the lower lashline (light brown, silver, etc.). The upper line defines my lashes and gives a nice curve, while the lower lines (the color being closer to white) pop my eyes. It's a lot like Tiffany's cute date look. ;) Have fun experimenting! ;)

  4. Peanut Butter,
I actually tried a teal eyeshadow today and I love it! I'm about to blog about it actually lol. I got the lash blast and I do like it a lot, wearing it now :)
Viva La Fashion, it's cold there? Where are you?
Fleur, I think I'll try that tomorrow! That's an awesome tip. I have a lighter brown I can use on the bottom, and a darker one for the top.
